On Friday, January 26, 2024, in the federal district court of Tampa, U.S. Magistrate Judge Anthony Porcelli filed an order recommending that District Judge William Jung deny the Uhuru 3’s motion for dismissal of the charges against Uhuru Movement founder and Black Liberation leader Chairman Omali Yeshitela, along with Penny Hess and Jesse Nevel, two white solidarity organizers with the Uhuru Movement, for allegedly conspiring with the Russian government to sow discord in the U.S.

We hear a statement from Jesse Nevel, Chair of Uhuru Solidarity Movement, working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party to build white solidarity with Black Power, and one of the Uhuru 3.
