Last week a federal jury in Oakland, California, rejected Elon Musk’s $150 billion lawsuit against OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman. The nine-member jury found that Musk’s claims were barred by the statute of limitations, ruling that he had waited too long to file. Musk has criticized the verdict and pledged to appeal.
Workers and opponents of both billionaires spoke out about the future of AI and its effect on workers currently. They spoke to Pacifica’s Steve Zeltzer.
