Twenty five thousand San Francisco City workers may be going out on strike when their contract expires on July 1; 17,000 of them are members of the Service Employees International Union. They held a rally for better wages, benefits, and working conditions on January 17, where SEIU 1021 Vice President Kristin Hardy addressed the crowd.  Earlier on the same day, Hardy spoke at a rally to drop the charges against protesters who shut down the San Francisco Bay Bridge to protest the US supported Israeli genocide in Gaza. She spoke to Pacifica’s Steve Zeltzer about both issues.

On January 17, activists rallied to demand that San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins drop the charges against 78 people  who blocked the SF Bay Bridge. San Francisco State University Professor Rama Ali Khased, from the Ethnic Studies Department, addressed the crowd.

We also feature singer Naima Shalhoub performing at the January 17 rally in San Francisco.

Pacifica’s Thomas O’Rourke reports on COVID 19 vaccine injuries.

Dr. Peter McCullough MD, MPH has been a distinctly authoritative critic of the US government’s COVID 19 policies since the early days of this global bio-medical event. He is one of the most distinguished medical clinicians and academics working in the US today in cardiology, internal medicine, and public health.

In this interview from this past November with Australian independent journalist Maria Zeee, Dr. McCullough discusses:

  • Medical evidence of mRNA vaccine injury and the cumulative impact of boosters
  • Medical leaderships’ failure to acknowledge mistakes or fraud
  • The World Health Organization’s effort to grab transnational sovereignty over all plants and animals
  • The background of mRNA gene technology and the Nobel Prize
  • The use of mRNA vaccine for livestock meat production

Dr. McCullough’s writings can be found at his Courageous Discourse channel on Substack, while much of his media work can be found on the America Out Loud Network and Podbean.

And that concludes today’s edition of Capitalism, Race & Democracy. We thank all of Pacifica’s sister stations and affiliates who contribute to the production of this show. Today’s program was produced by the Capitalism, Race, & Democracy collective with contributions from Akua Holt, Steve Zeltzer, Thomas O’Rourke, Polina Vasiliev, and the host, Ann Garrison.

Thanks for listening!
