Thousands of members of Communication Workers Of America met last week in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Several of them talked about the need to stop the genocide in Gaza and the need for national healthcare as 500,000 healthcare workers face layoffs due to Medicaid cuts. Pacifica’s Steve Zeltzer spoke with them at the convention.
The national leadership opposed an open debate on any resolution opposing the US-supported genocide in Gaza and also opposed debating a resolution on single payer health care.
